We are currently working with The Variable and Piedmont Craftsmen to bring awareness to artists and designers in our community, thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. You can read a little more about the “positive giant” project here.

TimeStretching: Dreamscapes and Visions

SEED collective artists Woodie Anderson and Dave Urena partner for an exhibit exploring how art reframes reality and refocuses awareness. This collection reflects their attempts to both capture environments/dreams/thoughts and explore how the collaborative process informs personal creativity. The exhibition will showcase large-scale collaborative works by the pair as well as new prints by Anderson and photography by Urena.

It Takes Two!

Borrowing inspiration from the original 1965 Motown duet featuring Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston, It Takes Two is a joint show in Urban Artware’s SEED Gallery featuring work from multimedia artist Laura Lashley & photographer Andy Tennille.

The show – which runs the entire month of May – opens on Friday, May 6, with an artist reception beginning at 7 pm during the Downtown Arts District Gallery Hop.
